Chapter 2

With the success of the song “Mundong ‘Di Magkatagpo,” Tenten and Angel make their mark in the music industry. Unable to find inspiration in writing new songs, Tenten flies to Paris for a music summit but finds himself in Italy when his flight made an emergency landing in Venice. Meanwhile, Serena starts anew with Gian Carlo and soon becomes comfortable around him again.

While exploring Italy, Tenten unexpectedly runs into Serena. However, nothing comes out of their meeting as Gian Carlo finally proposes to Serena.

Tenten opens his heart for Angel, but what if Serena returns to the Philippines?

In Manila, Serena searches for people and places that can help her regain her memories.

Eager to search for her forgotten identity, Serena goes to the Philippines in secret. Meanwhile, Tenten reconnects to his family and friends, and finally decides to open his heart to Angel.

After browsing Serena's Instagram account, Angel secretly sends her long-lost sister a message and unexpectedly receives a reply. Serena agrees to meet up with Angel after wandering aimlessly around the streets of Manila and almost crossing paths with Tenten.

Angel finally meets Serena and brings her to a bar where she performs her hit song "Magkabilang Mundo." Serena unwittingly sings along and later remembers meeting the song's composer upon hearing Tenten's name from Angel.

Serena's indifference toward Tenten bothers him greatly, until he finds out that she has lost her memories.

Serena is rushed to the hospital because of an upset stomach, and she ends up staying at the Urtolas for the night. Serena gets to know her biological family better, and unknowingly reconnects with Tenten through a phone call.

As Angel convinces Serena to meet their relatives, she gets Tenten to attend the family reunion as well. In a turn of fate, Serena and Tenten go to the same store to prepare for the gathering. Tenten sees Serena, chases after her, and finally learns of Serena's relation to the Urtolas.

Tenten comes to a decision of telling Angel the truth about who he is in Serena's forgotten past.

Upon coming home from the Urtolas' party, Tenten reveals to Dodoy and Taps that Serena is Angel’s long-lost sister. Learning that Serena has amnesia, Dodoy and Taps try to encourage Tenten to help Serena remember her past. Tenten, however, refuses to do so, leaving his parents puzzled.

Hearing Tenten's newest composition drives Serena into a severe emotional turmoil that worries everyone around her. This incident pushes Tenten to decide on confessing the truth behind Serena's condition, but Binggoy goes home just to stop Tenten from doing so.

Dodoy punishes his sons by sending them to jail. As he and Binggoy exert effort to regain their father’s trust, Tenten comes to a decision of telling Angel the truth about who he is in Serena's forgotten past.

After learning of Serena’s forgotten past, Angel plans to reveal the truth to her sister. However, Alice urges Angel to keep mum in order to protect their family.

A new opportunity comes along Angel and Tenten’s way when they receive an offer to do an album as a duo. Upon learning about her sister’s upcoming provincial tours with Tenten, Serena decides to join them and even urges the entire Urtola clan to tag along—a move that alarms Alice.

Serena retrieves indistinct memories upon hearing “Ang Suso” and after seeing a local drum and lyre corps in Angel’s provincial tour. Tenten, on the other hand, strives to avoid Serena as Alice wishes.

Jei Jei creates a plan to trigger Serena's memories by bringing everyone to a resort where fireflies abound. The plan fails, but Serena recounts firefly stories from Luciana and Gian Carlo, surprising Tenten because he was edited out of the retelling. That night, however, Serena spots a firefly that leads her to Tenten.

Jei Jei successfully scares Serena out of her room, leading her to seek Tenten’s help in the middle of the night. After recalling a similar situation in the past, Tenten calms Serena with the same words she told him before. The next day, Serena surprises everyone with her sudden desire to go to Bohol.

Serena learns about Tenten's nickname, and becomes curious about it after being mentioned by Gian Carlo before. Soon, Serena becomes alarmed when she starts imagining herself in Angel's place around Tenten. Seeing Serena struggle, in turn, makes Alice feel guilty for keeping the truth from her daughter.

Despite their intentions to keep away from each other, Tenten and Serena find themselves composing a love song together in the middle of the night. Meanwhile, Uge calls for an emergency family meeting regarding Serena's situation.

Tenten summons all his courage to break up with Angel and to admit that he still loves Serena. Serena, on the other hand, begins suspecting that her family is hiding something from her.

Angel's breakdown compels Uge to ask Tenten to keep his distance from his daughters and from matters concerning only the Urtolas. On the other hand, Serena decides to talk to Tenten without her family's knowledge, after learning from her psychiatrist that he may have something to do with her forgotten past.

The Ibarras take Serena to their farm, where she gets to learn more about Tenten from his family. Upon learning about the situation, Tenten sets aside his meeting with Angel and hastily follows his family in fear of the truth being known by Serena already. Angel, in turn, struggles to heal her broken heart.

Just as when Serena finally gets the opportunity to ask Tenten about the indescribable attachment she feels towards him, Angel discovers that Serena is with the Ibarras and immediately informs their parents about it. Soon, Uge’s phone calls not only interrupt Serena and Tenten’s conversation but also remind Tenten to leave the task of revealing the truth to the Urtolas.

Alice and Uge gather the rest of their family as they finally decide to tell Serena about her past. Serena, however, is stranded with Tenten, and being with him agitates her to ask him for the truth, which Tenten can no longer hide. At the same time, Gian Carlo and Luciana discover that Serena is in the Philippines.

Frustrated that her own family lied to her hurts Serena more than the truth, and she decides to go back to Italy immediately. Tenten, however, refuses to leave the situation ending badly and rushes to follow her to the airport.

Even after hearing Tenten's pleas, Serena remains firm on her decision to return to Italy. While Tenten comes home with a heavy heart, Serena confronts Luciana and calls off her engagement with Gian Carlo.

Determined to remember everything about her past, Serena returns to the Philippines, much to the Ibarras' surprise. While Tenten is more than happy to walk her through her forgotten memories, Serena makes it clear that she does not intend to rekindle any flame with him.

Serena shares an emotional reunion with the Urtolas when she came home and apologized to them. Tenten, on the other hand, sets aside his regrets and musters enough courage to volunteer in helping Serena find herself.

Serena takes Tenten's offer and agrees to relive their previous romance in hopes of triggering her lost memories. Meanwhile, Luciana begins to think of her current problems as punishment for what she has done in the past. Taps returns to Buklod Kalinga and finds a woman looking for a child left in the orphanage years ago.

After witnessing Serena doing everything uncharacteristic of her, Tenten soon learns how much she just wants to break free from the shadow of her past and of everyone telling her what to be. Meanwhile, Taps sees the picture of the baby that Mrs. Lorenzo is looking for. Luciana contacts the person she hired to look for her child.

Gian Carlo follows Serena to the Philippines to beg her for a second chance, only to find Tenten in Serena's hotel room. Despite his pleas falling on deaf ears, Gian Carlo makes it clear to Tenten that Serena is better off without him. Meanwhile, Luciana's search for her son continues.

Serena's plan to make her Bohol trip a solo journey to find herself ceases when Tenten and Gian Carlo insist on accompanying her to the province. Meanwhile, the Urtolas and the Ibarras meet in hopes of addressing and settling the Tenten-Serena issue at hand.

The Urtolas and Ibarras finally settle the issue about Binggoy's involvement in Serena's past. On the other hand, Serena continues to struggle with her memories despite Melds' efforts to recall them. Meanwhile, the rivalry between Gian Carlo and Tenten continues.

Gian Carlo wins all the festival games against Tenten, only to realize that Tenten might have gotten the upper hand in the bigger competition between them. Meanwhile, Angel takes a step in moving on from her recent heartbreak.

While Gian Carlo and Tenten continue to vie for Serena's heart, another development brews between Angel and Binggoy as they find themselves under similar situations. Meanwhile, Taps gets deeper into Mrs. Lorenzo's search for her son.

Gian Carlo takes a chance on winning Serena's heart by planning to serenade her, only to learn that Serena is not at home. Serena, meanwhile, is taken to a village dance where she finds Tenten waiting for her.

Opting not to back down from his fight for Serena’s heart, Gian Carlo serenades her with an Italian love song. Despite being discouraged by his rival's move, Tenten decides on the ultimate strategy in hopes of making Serena remember their past romance. Meanwhile, Roberto shows signs of recovering.

Tenten's sudden leave angers Serena, until news that he may be badly hurt in a bus accident reaches Manibugho. As it turns out, Tenten is fine, but the incident makes Serena realize what she really feels for him. Meanwhile, Binggoy and Uge come to a conclusion that Taps and Alice are keeping a secret.

Serena and Tenten are back in each other's arms after Serena finally admits her real feelings for Tenten. Gian Carlo initially takes it like a man, until Buboy's goading unleashes all of Gian Carlo's pain and heartache out of him.

Tenten and Serena return to Manila and happily tell their loved ones that they have gotten back together. Elsewhere, a brokenhearted Gian Carlo drowns his sorrows in alcohol, while his uncle, Fabio, vows to take revenge on the people who caused his nephew such pain.

Serena and Binggoy finally reconcile after she gives him a chance to make up for what he did. Meanwhile, Tenten cooks up a romantic surprise for Serena, who gets the wrong impression that Tenten is trying to ask for her hand in marriage. Elsewhere, Fabio finds a bruised Gian Carlo in jail.

Upon learning why Tenten is giving her the cold shoulder, Serena makes a decisive move that shows just how much she loves him. Meanwhile, Fabio goads Gian Carlo on to challenging his own destiny and fighting for his love.

Tenten brings Serena to Buklod Kalinga where they meet an aloof orphan named Motmot, who reminds Tenten of his younger self. Meanwhile, Favio urges Gian Carlo to get rid of Tenten by murdering him. Gian Carlo, however, has something else in mind.

After learning that Serena is being followed, the Ibarras and Urtolas suspect that Luciana may have something up her sleeve, especially upon learning that she is in Manila. Luciana, however, only warns Serena about the wrath of the De Lucas and apologizes to Binggoy for having to play villain again if he wants to protect his family.

The Urtolas and the Ibarras find time to unwind despite the threat posed by the De Lucas. Meanwhile, Luciana becomes extremely devastated after discovering that her son has been dead for years already.

Binggoy, Tenten, and Serena’s trip takes an unexpected turn when their vehicle swerves off the road after dodging a fast approaching truck. While Tenten and Serena remain unharmed, Binggoy is mortally wounded.

Emotions flow as the Ibarras, the Urtolas, and their friends bid farewell to Binggoy. Amid his grief, Tenten grows more resentful of Luciana upon learning that she manipulated Binggoy to break him and Serena apart.

Tenten is consumed by anger when Serena admits Gian Carlo’s possible involvement in Binggoy’s death. Gian Carlo, on the other hand, pressures Serena into marrying him in exchange for Tenten’s safety.

On the day of her wedding, Serena makes the ultimate sacrifice and flees from Tenten to keep him safe from Gian Carlo. While Tenten tries to heal his broken heart, Serena attempts to get used to her new life in Italy.

Vivian Dubois, an incredibly wealthy woman, introduces herself as Tenten’s biological mother. She brings a huge change in the Ibarras’ lives when she bequeaths all of her assets to Tenten. Meanwhile, Roberto finally wakes up but fails to stop Serena and Gian Carlo’s wedding.
