A group of work colleagues miss their flight by accident and avoid a plane crash, which prompts each of them to consider the paths their lives have taken and their unrealised dreams.

Zhabenko confesses to his ex-wife that after he, like the rest of his colleagues in the legal department, miraculously escaped death by missing that ill-fated flight, he went off the rails.

After Ilyusha and his colleagues miss the plane that was going to go down, his life changes. He used to keep his anger inside, but now he lets it out. Ilyusha invites Kitty for a coffee, and she agrees. On a high, he signs the forged documents

Dmitry Yurevich arrives at an opulent country house with his shoulder bandaged up. The guard takes him to the master of the house: Andrey Ivanych, CEO.

1996. A wood near Moscow. Andrey Ivanych (the future CEO) and some thugs get an official in a suit out of the trunk of the car and put him in a grave they dug earlier. Andrey Ivanych says that this is where his house is going to be.
