Chin Huat asks for Kim's help in convincing Mr Han to visit Sean. Kim starts playing with the Internet ICQ and finds an interesting guy she can chat with. Su-Lyn takes Herb to her place where she likes to think about things. They share a kiss there.

Sean is discharged from the hospital. Jacintha is there as well as Mr Han. He gives her the cold shoulder. Su-Lyn asks Alan for a favour. Can he help her find out more about Herb. James Lye rejoins the series, reprising his Mark Chin role. Wong Li Lin's character Elaine Tay is found dead and mike, now a PE instructor is questioned by Sean. Mike evades Sean's questions and does his own investigation instead, much to the chagrin of the latter. Meanwhile, Herbert searches everywhere for Su-Lyn.

Sean and Kim have to rein him in when Mike goes beserk chasing after the serial killer he thinks is responsible for Elaine's death. Meanwhile, a little boy is found murdered and Herbert and Alan suspect a molestation-cum-murder case.

In this season finale, Sean Kim, Mike, Alan and Herbert team up to nail Jack, the serial killer presumed to be responsible for Elaine's death. Having managed to do so, they realise the real culprit is still at large. Mike Chin then decides to re-join the police force in order to pursue the case.
