Surekha runs away from home. Gopal climbs onto the tank and blames his father Kodandam for Surekha's disappearance. Gurumurthy requests inspector Vamshi to find Surekha. Vamshi learns about Surekha's whereabouts.

Vamshi lies to Surekha to gain her trust and takes her back to the village. Surekha is shocked to discover the truth upon her return. Vamshi feels shattered after Gurumurthy's shocking revelation about the transfer letter.

Surekha has no choice and gets back to the fancy store. Her family is upset with her but decides to go ahead with her marriage to get rid of her.

Surekha's parents visit Gopal's house, and Chamundi approves of the marriage but puts forth a condition. Surekha is upset as the fancy store shuts and is taken over by a new owner.

Vamshi learns some shocking facts from Gopal about his love for Surekha. Vamshi rushes to check on Surekha, who plans to leave again. At Kodandam's house, the priest is called to fix the marriage date.

Surekha and Vamshi believe that Narasimham can help Surekha get rid of her impending marriage with Gopal. Narasimham strikes a deal with Kodandam concerning the marriage and keeps the water tank repair in the loop.

Narasimham tries to establish himself as a true leader. Gopal and Surekha's engagement begins. Vamshi feels guilty for his mistakes and tries to apologise.

Vamshi and Surekha make some shocking revelations to the villagers. Will Surekha get married to Gopal? Will the villagers of Buchivolu hope for a better future as the next elections approach?
