This second installment explores the public's changing attitude towards the animals, and the foxes' relationship with pets. Veterinary expert Mark Evans investigates a fox attack on a Chihuahua, while the team also hears from a pet shop owner who became so fond of a fox that he gave the creature its own flat above the shop.

Mark Evans goes on the trail of a mysterious black fox, while Queen guitarist and animal lover Brian May talks about his own experiences of rescuing wild foxes.

The last program in the observational series takes a look at the differences between urban and rural foxes.
