Det. Insp. Sam Harvey plans to quit the force for a career as a children's writer, but his plans are put on hiatus when his parents are killed in a bizarre accident.

Harvey and his colleagues are shocked when a film of his parents prior to their fatal accident emerges.

Harvey connects people to his parents' deaths when he discovers phone numbers. Harvey learns Voss' identity.

When he hears his father's will, Harvey realises that perhaps he didn't know his parents as well as he thought.
