Season 1

LA private detective Charlie Grace takes actress Linda Lane on a ride along. Criminal Mad Dog threatens Charlie's life and Captain Rios puts him under police protection. When Mad Dog is killed, Charlie becomes the main suspect.

Charlie's ex-wife is arrested for her rich husband's murder. He hires defense attorney Leslie Loeb while he tracks down the dangerous Bukowski for her.

With her mother in prison, Jenny is now living with Charlie. He's bringing back Darnell Sims to testify in Leslie's case. They hitch a plane ride with Arty back to LA only to be hijacked by a passenger for a cocaine run.

Charlie helps an abused young girl and her mother and uncovers a very young suspected killer. Jenny resents the demands of Charlie's work.

Charlie searches for the killer of a beautiful woman's fashion designer father.

Charlie gets caught between a woman and her mobster son (Richard Romanus)who intends to kill them both.

Leslie gets caught in an ethical dilemma that threatens her life, and Charlie is the only one who can save her. Jenny's grandparents want her to live with them instead of Charlie.

Charlie gets involved too deeply when some small-time crooks rob a major mobster.

While investigating the theft of a prized piece of sports memorabilia, Charlie mingles with professional sports greats Steve Garvey, Franco Harris, Lynn C. Swann, and Dick Butkus.
