José María feels as though his life is falling apart. His girlfriend breaks up with him. Sentimentality begins to take hold of him. He can't even change a tire. All this while feeling the pressure to become a father.

José María visits The Oasis. Mariano, the therapist, welcomes him and encourages him to join. Overwhelmed by his problems, José María is unsure what to do.

José María visits his father on the outskirts of the city. At The Oasis, José María wrestles with his emotions, while the other members of the group find release.

Roberto, José María's father, travels to the city in search of his son. Juliana finds him sleeping on her doorstep. An emotional experience takes José María by surprise at The Oasis.

Mariano summons the members of The Oasis to decipher an alarming message from José María. With no news from him, they decide to go looking for him.

Drunk, José María seeks refuge at his mother's house. The following day, José María must confront her and all those who were concerned about him.
