Season 1

When David moves to Ringaryd and meets siblings Jonas and Annika, strange things start to happen. By chance, they find old letters hidden on the Selanderska farm that tell of secrets from the past.

David has increasingly strange dreams about Emilie Selander, who wrote the letters, and the search for the truth about the Selander family leads the young people to Ringaryd church. Lindroth, the church's priest, tells them about the crypt where the Selander family is buried.

As David, Annika and Jonas read further into Emilie's letter, a love story is revealed that is both heartwarming and heartbreaking. A new piece of the puzzle emerges: Emilie's beloved Andreas traveled to Egypt with his colleague Patrik Ramsfield and brought home two twin statues. Lindroth and his friends discover something strange with Emilie's coffin.

When Emilie's coffin is to be opened, all of Ringaryd gathers to witness the historic event. Among them is a mysterious man with a blue Peugeot. At the same time, Annika struggles with love, she and David are attracted to each other but Annika has her boyfriend Peter.

Jonas listens to the recordings and hears the ghostly voice again. David decides to leave Ringaryd. He can't stand the murder dreams and the nagging feeling that something is not right.

Jonas uncovers new clues. David confronts Natte about the statue, leading to a major revelation.

Drama erupts after the accident and the friends receive shocking news about the statue. Annika and David grow increasingly drawn to each other and Annika decides to defy the curse. Julia delivers a cryptic message - a final clue.

Jonas learns what the words Gemini geminos quaerunt mean and realizes there may be a way to break the curse. But when they call Julia, they receive surprising information.
