A journey through the Rhône Valley in the Swiss canton of Valais. There are two trips into the mountains along the way: with the funicular railways to Crans Montana and to Chandolin in the Anniviers valley.

A journey in Belgium with two routes along a river: a nostalgic train makes the journey along the small river De Bocq and with the Belgian Railways the train follows a route along the Maas river.

New and nostalgic train equipment alternate. The first route starts in the eastern port city of Aarhus, located on the Baltic Sea. The journey goes by rail to the North Sea coast, not far from the Danish surfing paradise Cold Hawaii. Furthermore, attention is paid to a historic train route, with equipment from 1906.

Switzerland, the land of iconic train journeys. The train journey takes you via four different rail routes in the Swiss canton of Wallis, or Valais, as the French speakers call the region.
