Three couples from Leeds compete to host the best dinner party, beginning with construction manager Martin and his wife Amanda, who are determined to win. They are rivalled by competitive engaged couple Amy and Nico who impress with their entertainment and Hannah and Nick, who try to prove their doubters wrong by cooking duck to order.

Three pairs of partners from Blackpool compete to win the £1,000 prize, including former dancer Rowan and businessman John, who start the proceedings. Also vying to win are Sally and Joanne who hope to impress their guests with an unusual menu that features a Tandoori Tower and a belly-busting breakfast, before competitive duo Holly and Ollie pull out all the stops in an attempt to secure the cash.

Engaged duo Tony and Ami kick off the competition in East Sussex with an evening of raucous fun, but foodies Chris and Charlene are baffled by the cultural references, and Polish pair Izabella and Michal are left tired from chewing on Ami's rock-solid banoffee pies. Day two sees an international-themed menu being served up, while a menu of hearty cuisine and obscure meats are prepared on the final night.

Three couples from south Wales compete to host the best dinner party and win the £1,000 prize, beginning with beautician Rachael and her partner Nick, who prepare a selection of dishes they've never made before. Dionne and Ameel prepare an Indian-inspired meal on the second night of the competition, before Angela and Jeff hope their no-nonsense menu can secure them the money

Couples version of the cookery-based reality show. First to host in Ashford, Kent, are Francophiles Stephanie and Ian who amaze their guests by living in a tiny version of the Palace of Versailles. But will they be able to impress with their French food? The second night sees corporate city slickers Louise and Dan attempt to forge their way into the lead with the use of spreadsheet organization, while the third night is the domain of fun loving couple Pippa and Lee. They use a mixture of dressing up, stripping off and wacky voices combined with homely food to try and win the prize.

In Durham, Steph and James plan a night of gastropub favourites, that's if they can get through the day without falling out. Day two sees animal-lovers Gary and Amanda serve up two courses of fish on their homely menu, but the guests are soon distracted as a fully grown house pig makes an appearance at dinner. Finally it's the turn of youngsters Andy and Emma to host and they are feeling confident, despite the guests finding out about Andy's star chart, where Emma gives him rewards for good behaviour.

In East London, partners Stephen and Andrew kick off with a cosy menu inspired by their love of all things homely but the pressure in the kitchen gets to them, and the food fails to impress comedian Kate and her PA/boyfriend James, and glamorous Essex duo Rob and Abi. Day two sees beauty lovers Rob and Abi cooking up some glam cuisine, which goes down well despite Kate telling them she was only expecting chicken nuggets and turkey twizzlers. Finally it's James and Kate's chance to win with James taking centre stage.

Kicking off the competition in Blackpool are practicing Buddhist Antonio and ex-redcoat Jason. But competitive Daz and Kim are unsure about the sushi starter and foodies Martin and Kate are also proving tough to impress. Day two sees fireman Daz and his wife Kim hoping their combination of home cooked food and entertainment will win them the prize. Finally it's food lovers Martin and Kate's chance to impress with their authentic Thai menu and chocolate dessert.

In Luton, married couple Bridget and Peter kick off the competition with a menu of tried and tested dinner party favourites. But Richard and Marina aren't impressed by their simple fare, and Shawn and his wife Kendra find Peter's behaviour even less palatable. Day two sees Shawn and Kendra cooking up dishes inspired by their travels and a dessert reflecting their Canadian heritage. But things don't go to plan when their ice cream curdles and Shawn has a mishap with an egg. Finally, it's footballer Richard and his fiancee Marina's turn to impress with an Italian-inspired menu. But Richard is more of a hindrance than a help when it comes to the cooking. At the table there's a hair-raising confession from Richard and a few home truths for Peter. But which couple will win the coveted cash prize?

First to host in Swansea and Bridgend are Kathy and Justin, who present a menu inspired by Kathy's Italian past. Day two sees Mark and Maria kicking off with a leftovers-inspired starter, 'Chicken Lettuce Boats', while the final day's hosts are wacky duo Paul and Sarah.

Stable owner Alice and her boyfriend Ollie, travel specialists Gareth and Hihine, and newlyweds John and Katy compete over three evenings to throw the best dinner party.

In Newcastle, three rival couples battle it out to host the best dinner party. Partners Fiona and Hannah kick things off with their Moroccan-themed menu. Couple David and Sonia, and childhood sweethearts Claire and Steven, all agree the puppet show was unexpected. Day two sees Steven and Claire's German-inspired menu. Finally, David decides a charm offensive is needed for his and Sonia's night

Three rival couples in Essex and East London compete in the dinner-party challenge, beginning with Spencer and Sara's simple, Jewish feast. Reserved pair Lauren and Jack prepare a sophisticated menu reflecting the hosts' heritage in South Africa and Burma. For the final dinner, Paul and Ed opt for a flavourful fare that proves a bit much for those with a fondness for plainer food, and with the contest over, the competitors anxiously wait to discover which party was considered the best.

In Bournemouth, Dorset, PR company owners Jackie and Richard are first to host, putting on a classy evening with a few celebrity names thrown in for good measure. Next, Ross and Hanne stake their claim to the £1,000 prize, before everyone is brought to the farm for Gail and Nigel's evening

This episode, from Kent, features an egg phobia, a banter battle, an impromptu proposal and a haka. And one contestant puts his foot in it with his own fiancée. Twice.
