The Thores are left heartbroken by the passing of their matriarch, Babs. With Glenn forced to navigate life without his wife, Whitney takes on the role of caring for her aging father and moves him into her home.

While the family reels from the death of Babs, their beloved matriarch, a secret, long-lost daughter from Glenn's past emerges; determined to help her dad move forward, Whitney plans a Babs-themed party with friends and family to celebrate her life.

Determined to lift her grieving father's mood, Whitney cheers him on as he pursues an item on his geriatric bucket list: milking a cow; Glenn is far more nervous about talking to his long-lost daughter for the first time.
