Aachal and Aadya, two neighborhood teenage girls from Bangalore, India, meet properly for the first time outside of school and try to make conversation. Aachal has a bad day and feels lonely, while Aadya ask for her phone number.

After Aachal invited her to come over to her home and introduced her to her family, Aadya ends up playing a game of carom with Aachal’s brother and her cousins.

Aadya's daily routine now includes a visit to Aachal's house after college is over - and one visit shows that the bond between them gets deeper.

When Aachal's dad comes back home to his family and the tension is rising, she goes over to Aadya's house in the middle of a rainy night to look for comfort and protection.

On the day after the rainy night, Aadya and Aachal "accidentally" meet at the bus stop and end up taking the bus together - just to skip school and, eventually, have breakfast.

Within time, Aadya becomes a regular at lunch breaks in Aachal’s college, and their friends begin to notice how much they care for each other.

Holding hands when being alone at certain times, there are first glimpses of the physical attraction between Aachal and Aadya - and the secret meetings on the terrace begin.

When Aachal calls her during the birthday party with her friends, Aadya is eager to meet with her on the terrace and hopes for her birthday wish to come true. But they are not alone ...

Aachal and Aadya are finally alone at home and make love - until Aachal has to leave abruptly.

Aachal’s secret relationship to Aadya is found out by her mom and family - and she's forbidden to talk to her or to see her ever again.

To try to avoid the contact with Aadya, her family sends Aachal away to live with her aunt in America for a few months. Will Aadya be able to say goodbye to her before she has to leave?
