Artists don’t compromise with their art. But what about lovers? Do they compromise with their heart? Ananya, a talented interior designer, craves nothing more than Rohit’s company. To mark three years of togetherness, they meet for a quiet celebration. But nothing goes according to plan.

The two different worlds of Rohit Mehra collide with each other when his daughter, Bani, confronts him about Ananya. It seems Rohit will have to make a choice, as Ananya drifts apart from him. His wife, Poonam, offers him a second chance. Will Rohit be forced accept it?

Whenever a heart breaks, no matter how young or old, the grief is the same. Poonam is devasted because this time her husband, Rohit, can’t forget Ananya. Rohit feels a certain guilt, but Ananya doesn’t wish to share the burden of this guilt. Meanwhile, Bani refuses to marry her long-time boyfriend Arya.

Is Ananya and Rohit’s relationship ready to reveal itself to the world? Maybe not. But Ananya is tired of hiding their beautiful love from the world. Rohit arrives at a wedding function with his family but leaves the venue without them. This leaves his family and all the guests stunned. Meanwhile, Nikki and Bani try to secretly find out the identity of the other woman in their dad’s life.

Love and life is getting increasingly suffocating for Ananya. To escape all of this, she leaves the city. Rohit desperately searches for her all over. With a motive in mind, Bani agrees to marry her boyfriend Arya. Poonam is delighted with her daughter’s decision. But, her delight is short-lived when she learns about Rohit’s decision.

When the storm of divorce hits the Mehras, they are shattered. Poonam reluctantly accepts this bitter truth, while making a heartfelt appeal to Rohit. What is driving Rohit to seek divorce from Poonam? Is it something he truly desires or is it just to keep Ananya happy? Meanwhile, Bani reaches Ananya’s house and is not ready for what she discovers.

Is it better to live a lie for the sake of society or embrace truth for your own peace? Rohit and Poonam are divided on matters of marriage and relations. Before Rohit can get a divorce from Poonam he must fulfill her nearly impossible demand. Ananya is delighted when Rohit moves in with her. But it takes only one phone call from Poonam for him to return home and attend to his family.

With immense pain, Poonam and her family try to face the divorce proceedings with some dignity. But there is no dignity for Ananya in fulfilling Rohit’s request, even though she is hopeful and happy with Rohit moving in. Will Poonam and Rohit legally put an end to their marriage?

When two people divorce, is it right to put the blame on a third person? Nevertheless, Ananya blames herself for the pain of Poonam and her daughters. Rohit tries to meet his family, but he reaches home to find it empty. On the other hand, Nikki and Bani have a plan to get their father to realise his “mistake”.

After a long time, Poonam sees a ray of happiness, as the Mehras gear up for celebrations. For Rohit, Bani’s wedding is an opportunity to spend much needed quality time with his family. But arrival of Sheena Masi adds some unexpected colours to the occasion. Will Poonam and Rohit come closer?

In between all the preparations and celebrations Rohit misses Ananya each and every moment. Ananya patiently waits for a call or a message from Rohit, but she is left disappointed. Sheena Masi’s latest idea proves to be a masterstroke. What will Rohit do to save his relationship with Ananya?
