Eight merry bakers from Bake Off past join Paul, Prue, Noel and Sandi to do battle in festive themed challenges for the title of Star Baker.

More merry bakers from Bake Off past - Benjamina and Rav (2016), Rob (2012), and Sandy (2015) - join Paul, Prue, Noel and Sandi to do battle in a winter wonderland-themed challenge.

Liam and Flo from the 2017 Bake Off, and Jane and Andrew from 2016's show visit the tent. Plus The Darkness perform Christmas Time (Don't Let the Bells End).

Joining Noel, Sandi, Prue and Paul are former Bake Off stars Kate Henry, Dr Tamal, Candice and Steven, plus Britain's biggest boyband: The London Gay Men's Chorus.

Some familiar faces from Bake Offs past compete once more. Lea from series one, James from series three, Norman from series five, Peter from series 11, Kevin from series 13 and Nicky from series 14 begin their quest with a Signature featuring an old-fashioned dish that some might say is an acquired taste. The Technical tests the bakers on the Scottish staple of shortbread. Then in the Showstopper, the bakers showcase their national pride with a celebratory cranachan creation.

Ding dong merrily on pie! Deck the ovens and peep into the tent, as stars from Peep Show make biscuit decorations, a Boxing Day classic and their favourite moments in cake.

As the oven timers strike midnight, teams of legendary bakers from seasons gone by bring in 2026 the only way they know how... with fabulous festive baking and plenty of merry making.
