I really liked the first season of this series. It reminded me of the Before Sunrise/Sunset films, where they could make the scenes entertaining with little to no action, only by the conversation. I only knew Chris O'Dowd from the IT Crowd. I had to disassociate him from the IT geek image in that show. It was good to see that the couple started counseling after Louise cheated on Tom. Maybe it is due to Tom's artistic character that sometimes I felt as if he were too easy despite the cheating. This is definitely not something for background noise, you really need to listen and pay attention to the conversations to understand what's going on. I would have watched a 2nd season of them playing. Unfortunately, the 2nd season has been hijacked by woke people and every single woke and LGBTQ+ topic is shoved down your throat. The husband (Scott) is displayed as an ignorant, insensitive, old-fashioned (meant is a negative way) chap that needs to be educated in the latest woke ideas. The second season is pure woke propaganda.
